Our timber is a natural product that has been band sawn, fillet stacked and seasoned (dried) in
the forest.

During the drying process there can be some shrinkage and distortion.

Our timber can be used without machining or it can be dressed for a high-quality finish.

To ensure it retains its quality, keep it dry, store out of the sun and handle with care.

Macrocarpa clears - no knots or other defects; straight grain. Can include fiddleback.

Macrocarpa select – in-grown decorative knots; pruning scars and other defects (<50mm) and no black knots.

Macrocarpa garden grade – in-grown decorative knots; pruning scars and other defects (>50mm) and no black knots.

Cedar clears - no knots or other defects; straight grain

Fastigata heart clears - all heart wood, minimal kino veins and no knots

Fastigata select - some boards with decorative knots (<50mm) and kino (resin) veins. 

Regnans clears - all heart wood, minimal collapse and no knots.

Regnans select  - some boards with small decorative knots (<40mm); moderate collapse and kino (resin) veins.
